Claire Holt Talks Rebekah & Stefan’s Fate and The Originals

Claire Holt’s run on The Vampire Diaries is about to end and she is preparing to join the spin-off, The Originals as Rebekah. The witty and evil teen vampire is stuck with the desire to grow old, get married and have kids, which has led her to become a hit within the series. But as part of the Klaus gang, she will better fit in on that show as part of the original vampire family. Luckily she caught up with Zap2It to talk about her role, how Rebekah wants to be human, her relationship with Stefan and joining the spin-off series. She also confirms that at the end of the current Vampire Diaries that Rebekah and Katherine will meet face to face! You can hear all about it in the video down below.

I am sad to see her and Klaus leave the actual show, but I am excited to see
how they will cross over both series. Especially with Stefan and Rebekah, since Paul Wesley thinks that it could work out. No doubt the writers and production team are working hard to find paths for those options. It seems like they will need a pretty big plan to keep the fans happy and to keep the series going. Klaus will need new bad guys to fight, as well as good ones and I don’t know where they will come up with those. Hopefully the writers are already on top of it, but if not maybe they can bring back some of the ones from the past in The Vampire Diaries?
